This #PrideMonth, @oiioxford are tackling misinformation affecting the LGBTI+ Community. Check out their new article to read the engaging conversation with @EgertonNeto, Programme Manager for the Programme on Democracy and Technology. https://t.co/FgggZqJIQb #equality#LGBTQ
Thank you, @oiioxford, for the interview.
Misinformation targeting the queer community is putting the lives of LGBT+ individuals at risk worldwide. Fear, employed as a political strategy, has been used against us for decades, but its impact has intensified significantly
Want to hear a story about Outback Steakhouse in Brazil?
When I first got here four years ago, I was talking to guy here in Rio. He told me the best place to take women on first dates, if you want to make a good impression, is ... Outback Steakhouse.
Que tal trabalhar no Governo Federal com projetos inovadores que estão transformando o Estado?

Can't believe it's almost been a year since #CountingQueers was published, yet its impact feels just as fresh today. Grateful that it reached 9 countries, in 5 languages - Nepal, Hong Kong, Brazil, US, and more. Still a long way to go, but this is inspiring! Thanks, @ProSyn!
Today marks the start of LGBTQ+ pride month in many countries around the world. Last year, @EgertonNeto explained why every national census must include questions about sexual and gender identity. https://t.co/Gwps2cm9zP
The #IPIE is a global institution for a global problem. It is dynamic and flexible to counter a rapidly degrading information environment.
It is a global forum to facilitate, aggregate and elevate scientific knowledge and inform action.

One year ago, I joined the most challenging and exciting project I have been involved with.
Along with a global network of researchers, we are launching today the International Panel on the Information Environment (#IPIE) at the @NobelPrize Summit.
I have had conversations with dozens of academics, 200+ in total as of now, from 50+ countries. Athough they might differ on discipline, background or geography, they all agree in one thing: it is time to build actionable scientific consensus about the #Misinfo crisis.
