Hey friends! So I’ve been writing poetry since high school as a therapeutic outlet. And today I finally am sharing it with everybody. Go check it out and tell me what you think!

One of the most rocking moments I've ever experienced at Kinnick Stadium. The fans go wild as a patient from the UI Stead Family Children's Hospital, as the ceremonial first golden batter, hits a home run.

Trying to explain to my gf how @jordan_mailata is one of the athletes in the nfl after showing his rugby highlights

‘My grandmother told me about the Holocaust and about never again. This isn’t never again’

A legend

A Jewish activist protest at Rutgers University after they invited an Israeli soldier.

[Brian Allen @allenanalysis]

Minnesota National Guard was asked why they’re handing out coffee, donuts, and hot chocolate to protesters.

Answer: “It’s a demonstration of safety and security. We’re here to help.”

That’s how you de-escalate.
Not masks. Not threats. Not bullets.

[Turnbull @cturnbull1968]

I don’t think MAGA really understands how much people hate them.

It’s -20 degrees in Minneapolis right now.

[Simons @Simon_Ingari]

A Gen Z joined the team.

Week one.

During onboarding, the manager said,
“We sometimes stay late during peak periods.”

Gen Z nodded.

Then asked,
“Is that paid… or just expected?”

The room went quiet.

- No attitude.
- No rebellion.
- Just a question.

Later that day, HR mentioned “growth opportunities.”

Gen Z replied,
“Does growth include raises, or just more responsibility?”

Again, silence.
- No laziness.
- No entitlement.
- Just clarity.

That’s when the team realized something.

When people say
“Gen Z is lazy,”
what they really mean is:

Gen Z watched old generation
- skip meals,
- miss birthdays,
- work weekends,
- and burn out

only to be told
“budgets are tight”
and “be grateful you have a job.”

So Gen Z chose differently.

- They don’t romanticize overwork.
- They don’t confuse suffering with ambition.
- They don’t trade health for praise.

They still work hard.
They just refuse to work for nothing.

It’s not laziness.
It’s pattern recognition.

And honestly,
after everything old generation went through…

Can you really blame them?

There’s nothing we need more in 2026 than a rise in prominence from the Black Panthers

[Appodlachia @appodlachia]

This is what loving neighbors do. This is real community. Not the AI-generated 50s trad family propaganda bullshit that the right is obsessed with

[Alec Dorau @EggRoll59]

@juliet_turner6 He looks like he unironically calls himself an “alpha male” 😂

[Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC]

Maybe if you channeled all this anger into swimming faster you wouldn’t have come in fifth.

[Alec Dorau @EggRoll59]

@mcsquared34 I’m sorry but the officer is wearing vans while in full tactical gear
They look so stupid

If you think Tylenol is bad for children’s health what until you see what guns do.
