Super proud of our Y12 VEX VRC Tournament Champions, Team Uncle Rameses. Nothing worked at the start of the day, in bottom half of the qualification table and still won. Nationals here we come.
I hear tell of a *brilliant* computing student who has aced her A levels & qualified for @sheffhallamuni, but is too young, by a month, and is now at a loose end until September! Anyone interested in offering her extended work experience get in touch!!
We're #hiring! Do you want to act as a role model to students? Are you an effective team worker? We're recruiting a Teacher of #Computing to join the team at #UTCSheffOLP Apply here: https://t.co/RmUYoEHntl Deadline is Monday 20th January! #sheffieldjobs
So proud of #TeamMagenta. They did a great job, coping with massive technical issues and being the only team using real C++ coding in their competition.
Congratulations to the fabulous #GirlsInSTEM#UTCSheffield Team Magenta for their many successes in 2019, looking forward to seeing you blaze a trail in 2020!
Addressing coding in class and not the computing teacher? Not a problem!
Paul Carr, D&T teacher @TanfieldSchool on how students thrive coding with VEX in after school clubs and love seeing their robots come to life on the field! #HourofCode#coding#VEXRobotics
@VirusRobotics Hi, we are organising a regionals at @UTCSheffield on the 15th of Feb. And we would love you to come, possibly judge and maybe .... Please DM, thanks.
