Together with fellow Governors Stephen Sang and Benjamin Cheboi and other leaders from the Rift Valley region, we handed over 80 bulls to the family of the Late Rt Honourable Raila Odinga at Opoda farm,Bondo in Siaya County.
The 80 bulls signify the years Baba lived in this world.
In Hebrew, the number 80 also represents the devine spark of God within the soul.
The bulls were received by Mama Ida and Senator Dr. Oburu Odinga.

World Diabetes Day .
World Diabetes Day was today commemorated at Iten County Referral Hospital by Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha.
Diabetes is a major health concern leading to hypertension, renal failure among other complications.
I am glad CS Nakhumicha reiterated that the consistent supply of drugs to our health facilities will be enhanced through KEMSA.
We also had an official flag off of our 1,260 Community Health Promoters who will be lead persons in spreading awareness and advocacy for better prevention, diagnosis of diabetes in line with this years theme which calls for enhanced access to Diabetes care.
We will continue our medical screening camps in all wards in order to reach more people.
Stipends for our CHPs will be paid upon signing an MOU between my government and MOH before January 2024.

This will reduce the cost of doing our roads. Machines for Moiben-Kuserwo (Marakwet West Sub-County) and Chepkorio Wards (Keiyo South Sub County) are on the way.
