Meet one of Tasmania’s most loveable locals… the wombat! 🐾
These chunky, curious marsupials are often spotted around Cradle Mountain and the Overland Track — always unbothered, always adorable.
Wombats are famous for their cube-shaped poo, their surprising speed (yes, they can outrun most of us!), and their gentle nature. If you’re lucky enough to meet one on your travels, remember to give them space and enjoy the moment.
Join us on an eGuide adventure and discover why wombats are everyone’s favourite Tassie neighbour.
