تناولت مع أخي معالي الدكتور عبد اللطيف بن راشد الزياني، وزير خارجية مملكة البحرين، العلاقات الثنائية المتميزة والتطورات الإقليمية الراهنة. أكدت تضامن مصر الكامل مع البحرين في مواجهة أية تهديدات تمس أمنها وسيادتها، وأهمية خفض التصعيد وتغليب المسارات الدبلوماسية.

I spoke with my brother, H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, on regional developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions. We stressed the importance of resuming U.S.-Iran negotiations in line with the Islamabad MoU and ensuring safe navigation.

ناقشت في اتصال مع أخي معالي السيد بدر بن حمد البوسعيدي، وزير خارجية سلطنة عُمان، تطورات الأوضاع الإقليمية وجهود خفض التصعيد واستعادة الهدوء في المنطقة. أكدنا أهمية العودة للمفاوضات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران وفقاً لمذكرة تفاهم إسلام آباد، وضرورة الحفاظ على أمن وسلامة الملاحة.

I was pleased to welcome my friend, Italian FM Antonio Tajani. We co-chaired the 1st Egyptian-Italian Joint Committee & joined the Business Forum. I commend Italy’s position on the Nile, stressing the need to refrain from any unilateral measures & not causing harm.

سعدت بزيارة صديقى الوزير الإيطالي أنطونيو تاياني. ترأسنا الدورة الأولى للجنة المشتركة بحضور عدد من الوزراء، وشاركنا في منتدى الأعمال المصري الإيطالي. أحيي الموقف الإيطالي في ملف مياه النيل، وتشديده على أهمية الامتناع عن اتخاذ أي إجراءات أحادية وعدم احداث ضرر.

I discussed with my friend Giorgos Gerapetritis, Greek FM, by phone regional developments & the impact of the escalation related to the Ukraine crisis on Black Sea navigation and wheat supplies to Egypt, Greece, & African countries. We stressed the importance of de-escalation.
