Marvin Senaya writes "Wearing the colours of Ghana at the World Cup is a tremendous honour.
Behind this jersey, there is so much more than football. There is a history, roots, a culture, and an entire people that I am proud to represent.
One Nation. One People. One Star. ๐ฌ๐ญ"
I was struck by a rather interesting comment during the welcome presentation of a traditional Belarusian cake to HE the President, John Dramani Mahama, when he arrived in Minsk.
This ceremony was a real honour for the guest, and the cake was presented by two ladies in traditional Belarusian attire, which showed a great deal of cultural respect and appreciation.
In Ghana, we usually offer water and, in some traditional settings, kola nuts as a way to welcome someone.
