Everyone knows the name Scotty Cameron. Most people know that a Circle T is a tour putter.
Last year I caddied for a guy who had a Circle T, and on the end of the putter was a Circle L.
Turns out that if you play a match against Scotty and lose, he'll send you a Circle L putter.
L is for Loser 🤣
You can't buy one. He gives them to friends and folk he's played with, and the only way to get one is to get beaten by the man himself. Zac Blair on the PGA Tour has one.
I'd love to lose to Scotty Cameron.
📸 isn't the same putter, it's just to show where the L goes.
Have you seen one?

The ATH’s: you must call us “Athletics” or “A’s”
All broadcasters in 2025: “Oakland Oakland Oakland Oakland Oakland Oakland Oakland Oakland Oakland Oakland Athletics”
This upcoming series will be emotional on so many levels for each and every one of us.
But you can rest assured on 9/26 that you don’t need to stress about getting the stadium replica. Enjoy every single moment “IN YOUR SEAT TIL THE LAST PITCH”.
Trust us, it looks like shit:
“John, you’re a serial penny pincher, you’ve destroyed your family’s great name & legacy because of your cheapness”
This sports reporter in Oakland went off on A’s owner John Fisher
The thing about hanging on by a thread is that it’s always just that close to snapping. I should’ve spent time building that thread up, but instead I assumed everything would work itself out. Until the day came that it didn’t.....
No more silence.

I was at the US Amateur last year with @AustinGreaser.
Austin told me something so simple, but it’s actually brilliant.
Austin has been ranked inside the top 10 in the world amateur golf rankings for the last couple years. He has played in the Masters and the US Open. He is in his last year at UNC. He is good at golf. Really good at golf.
Austin told me he never uses a flag as his target when on the range.
He said he stopped doing this because he "almost NEVER aims at a flag when playing".
He doesn't want his brain, or "his eyes" to get used to firing at flags.
He stopped aiming at them during practice because he doesn't want his eyes to drift towards a flag during a round.
Please note that one of the best amateur golfers on the planet said he is ALMOST NEVER firing at flags on the course.
Yet so many mid to high handicap players are firing at every flag, including tucked ones.
Austin said that after he stopped using flags for targets during practice sessions, it has absolutely helped him on the course.
He said he finds it so much easier to commit to non-flag targets on the course because that is exclusively how he practices.
This is one of the most brilliant practice hacks I have ever heard.
I absolutely love it for so many reasons.
So simple, yet so incredibly brilliant.
You are going to watch this video at least three times, because the first couple you aren’t positive what you just saw.
Brett Silvernail is +2 thru 9 at Hillcrest.
Sad news: The legendary Vida Blue has died at age 73. His pitched for the A’s, the Giants, and the Royals. He won a Cy Young award and 3 World Series championships. On top of that he was a nice guy, a true gentleman. He will be missed.
