Hello! In case you don't know me, I'm Eht, one of the AQW class + design leads. As co-lead, I've spearheaded many of the gameplay updates over the last 2 years. As of this month, I'm stepping back to focus on my studies and career, but I'll still give input as time allows.
@ImmortalJoe_AE Working with AE producing content and gameplay updates for you all has been wonderful. Fortunately, the team and release schedule are flexible enough that we could pivot to this new set-up without too much friction.
@AtSeylla@AqwClass Changes are planned for the class, but not for a while.
Because so few people have it relative to non-merchandise classes, and it's not available at the moment to obtain, the changes would have very little impact.
@rin19562797@AqwClass There's a fine perceptual line these classes stand on relative to each other. The changes did intend to be a slight buff, but moreso by scaling than base solo performance.
This change is only a few percent DPS change, and Chaos Avenger still performs better than it used to.
@Icynxoxo@AqwClass There are no plans to update Clawsuit at the moment.
Ninja variants are under consideration, but may not be updated because they already have some relevance much later in the game.
Rustbucket + variants have other plans already.

@jYearyBoy@AqwClass Yes, that is Abyssal Angel. The vignettes scenes are not all done with ArchMage, since they're supposed to represent a farming preview.
@AqwClass Of the clips shown, all are taken with a full enhancement traits build. Several are taken using damage boosts, and a couple use potions, to demonstrate scaling.
@AqwClass Being an endgame class, the farm will be quite long, but with a greater emphasis on difficulty instead of just length- in the same vein as Dragon of Time albeit a bit longer. Insignias are not required but will offer shortcuts. There are no time gates.
@AqwClass ArchMage will be an endgame farming class that's heavily build oriented and offers lots of room for optimization. It will not necessarily be better than the existing meta, but can be. It will also fill a few roles aside from farming, such as some soloing and some support use.
