So, Mississippi chose to stay out of online sports betting, missing out on 10s of millions in tax revenue for our state. Now, DraftKings has rolled out a "super app" that places prediction markets side by side with their standard betting app. Good thing we didn't need any of that money for K-12 eduacation, roads and bridges, higher ed or anything else. Paraphrasing what @SenDavidBlount told me earlier this year on @MorningsCross , "with prediction markets like Kalshi growing, it's not that much revenue anymore." Glad we protected those "brick and mortar" gaming properties. Hope it was worth it.
More Americans should follow the lead of Giants QB Jaxson Dart.
The media stirs up a frenzy because Jaxson recently introduced the @POTUS at an event.
(They even find where - as a star QB for Ole Miss - Jaxson shared Trump’s endorsement video of my re-election!)
How does he handle it?
He stands his ground.
He has a closed-door team meeting.
They discuss his decision on Trump (and likely decide to agree to disagree.)
They all agree to move on.
Political issue resolved.
In other words, he acted like an adult.
Jaxson’s Giants teammates are going to follow his lead on the field.
And when it comes to politics, a lot of Americans should follow Jaxson’s lead off the field!
