🚨👮 In partnership with @MerseyPolice, students from Hillside High School and @AlsopHighSchool once again took on the role of detectives to investigate a fictional knife crime case.

From examining evidence at Stanley Park and hearing powerful insights from A&E Clinician @Nurseclaypole, to presenting their case at Liverpool Crown Court and securing justice, the initiative aims to educate young people on the realities of knife crime and support them in making positive choices for the future. 🤝💙

🤝 Everton in the Community congratulates long-term supporter, @andyburnham on becoming Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Throughout the years, Andy has shown an interest in the work of Everton in the Community. In 2014, he ran the London Marathon in aid of our Dementia provision and in 2023, he officially opened The People's Place, our mental health and wellbeing hub.

We welcome the continued focus on tackling issues such as homelessness, improving mental health support and creating better opportunities for young people.

These are challenges our charity works to address every day through a wide range of programmes, including those delivered as part of the Steve Morgan Foundation Impact Model, but also through our work with the @PremierLeague Foundation and @MerseyPolice.

Everton in the Community remains committed to working with partners across all sectors to build Stronger Communities and Brighter Futures.

We look forward to continuing our work across the Liverpool City Region and beyond, supporting people to improve their health, wellbeing and life opportunities. ✊💙

Young people from our #PLKicks programme took part in discussions around creating more opportunities, improving mental health and reducing the risk of involvement in crime.

⛳️ Happy first day of @TheOpen!

Earlier this week, participants from our #PLKicks and #PLPrimaryStars programmes were invited to Royal Birkdale to take part in a special event with @golffoundation and Street Games.🏌🏻

Young people took part in a festival, where they brushed up on their chipping and putting skills, before spending the afternoon on the lookout for professional golfers. 💙
