Welp, I received my first super rude (f-word included) query where the bio only said, "It doesn't matter just read the manuscript" and the query only ranted about form rejections, feeling for underpaid interns, and "If you want to know what it's about just F*ing read it."
A lot of folks are querying. I usually post a link but y’all are lazy so here you go.
Top ten query advice that got me multiple agent offers:
1. Query in batches. Three is a good number to start.
Just a reminder that when your editor leaves brief compliments here and there in your manuscript notes, don't delete those. They're like little stepping stones of positivity that will pull you through the revisions of despair.
An intriguing read about the divide between counter-capitalism authors and the worlds/characters they write.

Wishing everyone a great Memorial Day weekend, especially those with a personal connection, as 20 years of sustained conflict have made it relevant for more Americans than any time in recent history.
If you are having strong feels today, be sure to reach out to friends.
We hope you will join us in congratulating @kmitko3 on winning the inaugural round of our quarterly 'Words From the Inkwell' competition with her entry, "The Susseration of Promise."
Well done, Kristy! 🦏
