It's me again. Those following my messages to you should refer to comments dated August 20th where I was invited to message McDonalds. I did and copied my response to all of you. Today is September 30th, over a month since my response was sent/messaged to them (their request) and shared with you. This is an UPDATE. No change! I wasn't holding my breathe. The drink machines are still at about 70%, condiments are still restricted to straws and lids, and the restrooms are still disgusting. So, I can see you did nothing from Chicago, or they did not care at the Bluffton end. To all of you, when visiting Bluffton, SC, avoid this McDonalds on Buckwalter Dr. There is a Chick Fil A down the road that takes care of all of these issues!
Sent to McDonalds: I’ve lived in Bluffton, SC for 11 years, and I remember when this McDonald’s was always packed, with tables and floors constantly being cleaned and customers receiving immediate attention. At one point there was even a staff member helping guests proactively. Unfortunately, that level of service has been gone for years.
Soda Machines: There are two machines, but neither is dependable. Self-serve is rarely complete, so employees make the drinks when you order. For refills, you often have to get ice from one machine and soda from the other. This has been the case for over a year. Many times I simply go next door to the Stop & Go for drinks because they are more reliable and cheaper.
Condiments: Only straws and lids are stocked. Everything else requires tracking someone down, which shouldn’t be necessary. It distracts staff from their other responsibilities. We often just bring our own napkins and salt from home.
Restrooms: I avoid using them. When we dine in, we plan to stop elsewhere afterward if we need a restroom.
Customer Service: This is not about unfriendly employees—most are polite and pleasant. The issue is training and, more importantly, the lack of effective management presence.
This location used to represent the McDonald’s brand well. Now, it feels neglected. A stronger, more consistent management presence—or retraining at headquarters—seems necessary to bring it back to the standards that once made McDonald’s enjoyable.
I appreciate your response asking for more detail. I hope it makes a difference, but I admit I am doubtful—standards seem much lower here. Culver’s will soon be opening nearby, and right now this McDonald’s is the only fast-food burger restaurant within 5–6 miles. If I owned it, I’d do everything possible to capitalize on that advantage. Instead, it feels like an absentee owner is content with the bare minimum—or less.
Dear Brother Pavlovitz,
You seem mighty fired up today, askin’ questions like a preacher at a revival — but only if the choir’s singin' your tune. So allow me to reply in kind, because this ol’ soul’s been watchin’ the sermon from both sides of the pulpit.
If Trump was on that list?
Let’s not pretend for a single, blessed moment that Democrats wouldn’t have painted his name across every billboard from Boston to Bakersfield. CNN would’ve launched a 24-hour “Epstein Emergency” ticker. MSNBC would’ve hosted candlelight vigils with choreographed outrage. And Hollywood? Honey, they'd have a 10-part docuseries on Netflix titled "The Predator in the Red Tie."
But here’s the spicy part, friend:
You had the House.
You had the Senate.
You had the White House.
You had all the cameras, microphones, and social media platforms wrapped around your finger tighter than Hunter’s…well, laptop bag.
And yet, for four years, the Epstein client list stayed locked up tighter than the DNC debate stage from dissenting voices.
So I ask you, dear John:
If there’s no “Big Guy” on the list, why the silence?
If there’s no guilt to go around, why not share the light?
If truth really matters to you — why didn't your side open the books when you had the power?
Maybe, just maybe, it’s not about justice.
Maybe it’s about whose side gets to weaponize justice, and whose sins we quietly forgive with a wink and a press blackout.
Clean your own pews, brother, before preaching to mine.
With love, spice, and the receipts you keep avoiding,
– Dr. John (No, not that one. The real one.)

Because we are wasting our tax money buying condoms and making Sesame Street movies for 3rd world countries, and the world has grown dependent our our ignorant and corrupt management of "aid". @elonmusk@realDonaldTrump Trump will use up his four years and our "Coward and Corrrupt Congress" will not fix that or hold anyone (them selves) accountable. Our BEST team, Trump and Musk , are fighting in public like two 3 year olds instead of agreeing to disagree.
@BillHerringIII @matt_vanswol Cut me a break! Of course that's true, but you are letting our cowardly elected Repubs off the hook? Really!??? @elonmusk@realDonaldTrump
The Repubs are not publicly doing everything to protect American families. If they were, the would publicly be leaders, protesting against the Dems going to El Salvador and they would be verbally supporting President Trump. The Repub swamp continues to be cowards in the name of their own pockets, re-elections, and golden parachutes. Prove me wrong please! @elonmusk@realDonaldTrump
@MarioNawfal And over 1.5 million lives are killed per year through abortions, and that does not count the embryos pitched through the IVF process. @elonmusk@realDonaldTrump
@libsoftiktok It is very dangerous that the conservative and repub public...AND...our elected Repubs are not willing to publicly protest in favor of Trump over this issue. Do all of you really want MS-13 gang members back? Really? @elonmusk@realDonaldTrump
