A little chilly out there today so lots of art & crafts inside, inspired by the Ancient Greeks and Miss Fry. Symmetrical flowers + butterflies and a Greek vase showing a sea serpent being conquered.

@ardeleyschool a morning for Maths, divisions and doubling number sentences, and some Zeus research and play dough sculpture. An afternoon 4 mile cycle, plenty of dandelions. No butterflies, all sheltering from the wind maybe.

Our plank is looking rather battered from many walkings! 😂We're attempting counting on and back, although swimming with the sharks is more appealing than challenging counting! 😃

Lockdown Week 6
Today we loved YouTube stories from Ardeley teachers, Starbursts & a quiz. Time for Maths computer games & some baking too.

Both boys drew & painted farmyard animals, talking about their noises, homes & what their babies are called. Raided the baking box for(edible) eyes! Also made a quiz.
