Today, President Biden put forward a clear, realistic and just plan to establish an immediate ceasefire and end the war in Gaza - a plan that ensures Israel’s security, returns hostages taken on October 7th to their families, increases aid into Gaza and relieves the suffering of Palestinian civilians, and engages Israelis, Palestinians, Arab countries and the broader international community in the process of rebuilding Gaza.

A ceasefire alone won’t ease the terrible pain of Israelis whose loved ones were butchered or abducted by Hamas, or the Palestinians whose families have been shattered by the subsequent war. It won’t resolve the longstanding conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, or answer contentious issues surrounding a two-state solution or continuing settler activity in the West Bank. But what it can do is put a stop to the ongoing bloodshed, help families reunite and allow a surge of humanitarian aid to help desperate, hungry people. It can save lives, here and now - and it can lay the foundation for what will be a long and difficult road to a future in which Israel is secure and at peace with its neighbors, and Palestinians finally have the security, freedom and self-determination that they have sought for so long.

As the tragedy in Gaza has unfolded over the past eight months, we’ve witnessed an often fierce public debate here at home - and around the world - regarding how the United States should respond. But no matter where each of us stand in these broader debates, an enduring ceasefire is something we should all support - for the sake of Israelis, Palestinians and the world at large. I am deeply encouraged by the steady, tireless efforts of President Biden, Secretary of State Tony Blinken and our diplomatic team to bring this awful war to an end.

BREAKING: Donald Trump get devastating news as Democrats formally launch a probe into his shockingly corrupt request to major oil companies for $1 billion in campaign cash.

But it gets even better...

Democratic star Congressman Jamie Raskin sent a letter to the CEOs of eight massive energy companies and oil lobbyist groups that attended a secretive Mar-a-Lago dinner with Trump.

According to reports, Trump asked for the $1 billion at the dinner and pitched it as a great "deal" for the companies since he'd be able to slash regulations and taxes to boost their profits.

In his letter, Raskin condemned the meeting as an "unvarnished quid pro quo offer."

Raskin also took aim at a Politico report which stated that the oil industry is already writing executive orders for Trump to sign if he wins. Raskin wrote that the companies "may have already accepted or facilitated Mr. Trump’s explicit corrupt bargain."

Raskin requested that the companies hand over any information on discussions about campaign contributions from the dinner and all policy documents that have been prepared for Trump to sign.

BREAKING: Donald Trump’s former spokeswoman fires a torpedo into his presidential campaign, says “competency and experience” are “out the window” if he wins.

And it gets even more brutal…

“It’s extremely worrisome because I think competency and experience are going to be out the window,” said Sarah Matthews, the former spokesperson in person, during a conversation with CNN.

“In this article, he says that he wants to put loyalists in these positions of power, and a litmus test to secure a job would be that you believe that the 2020 election was stolen from him,” she said, referencing a disturbing new Time magazine interview with Trump.

“It’s concerning to think there won’t be people, I believe, of good character staffing him this go-around.,” she went on. “You’re not going to have the John Kellys and Mark Espers who would push back on him. Instead, it’s going to be a bunch of ‘yes’ men and women who will do and say what he pleases.”.

“I think, in the last administration, we were able to dissuade him from a lot of bad policies by saying, ‘Oh, well, this could hurt your reelection chances,’” Matthews explained. “If he is elected president again, that won’t be a concern next time around.”

“So I think that you’re not really going to be able to steer him off of some of these bad policies like such as family separation that we saw in his first term, things like that,” she added. “I believe he would go forward with because he wanted to do that during the first term.”

It’s frankly astonishing that people with firsthand experience of Trump’s failed administration aren’t being taken more seriously. Matthews and others are sounding the alarms and MAGA supporters are sticking their heads in the sand.

BREAKING: Donald Trump has a complete meltdown in front of cameras after emerging from court, rants that his hush money trial has "nothing to do" with him and then blatantly violates his gag order.

This is a stunning moment of legal self-sabotage...

"If a lawyer puts in a bill or an invoice and you pay the bill and in the book it's a little line that's a very small little line," said Trump of the business records that he allegedly falsified. "I don't know if you can even write more than two words. It's not like you can tell a life story. They marked it down to a legal expense."

"This is what I got indicted over!" Trump went on. "Think of it. I got indicted! I'm the leading candidate. I'm beating Biden. I'm beating the Republicans now, I have the nomination, and this is what they try to take me off the trail for that checks being paid to a lawyer."

"He is a lawyer or was a lawyer. And also, the things he got in trouble for were things that had nothing to do with me," Trump insisted.

It must be noted that Trump is barred from talking about Michael Cohen, the attorney in question, under a standing gag order by Judge Juan Merchan. He is now clearly in violation.

"He got in trouble. He went to jail. This had nothing to do with me," Trump said. "This had to do with the taxi cab that he owned which is just something he owned, and medallions, and borrowing money and a lot of things... But it had nothing to do with me!"

"He represented a lot of people over the years but they take this payment and they call it a legal expense and you heard it today for the first time," Trump continued.

"This is what I got indicted over!" he said. "This is what took me off and takes me off the campaign trail because I should be in Georgia now. I should be in Florida now! I should be in a lot of different places right now campaigning and I'm sitting here and this will go on for a long time. It's very unfair! The judge is conflicted as you know."

Trump knows that he's in deep trouble with the courts and that President Biden is pulling far ahead of him. Every day that he spends in court instead of on the campaign trail is another nail in his political coffin.

Judge Merchan must now take steps to punish Trump for violating his gag order. This man is not above the law.

BREAKING: Donald Trump’s son-in-law is embroiled in scandal as it’s revealed that his shady investment firm is financed almost entirely by foreign investors.

And it gets so much worse…

The investors in question are largely individuals that Kushner dealt with while in Trump’s administration. In other words, it looks very much like he traded favors for money.

Of the $3 billion that Kushner’s investment firm “Affinity Partners” controls, almost 99% of it is from foreign sources according to an SEC filing.

To date, Infinity has made 10 investments worth roughly $1.2 billion, many of them in foreign companies.

It’s time for a full investigation. The corruption is right out in the open.

BREAKING: E. Jean Carroll's superstar attorney suggests that she may file a third defamation lawsuit against Donald Trump — just days after he posted a $91.6 million bond for the last case he lost against her.

This is simply too good...

"The statute of limitations for defamation in most jurisdictions is between one and three years," said Roberta A. Kaplan, the lawyer in question. "As we said after the last jury verdict, we continue to monitor every statement that Donald Trump makes about our client."

The statement comes in the wake of a string of new attacks that Trump has launched on Carroll in recent days, using language conspicuously similar to his past defamatory remarks.

During a rally in Georgia, Trump whined about posting bond and smeared Carroll as "not a believable person" and said that her accusations were false. A jury has already ruled that she was in fact sexually abused by him.

Trump then mocked Carroll as "Ms. Bergdorf Goodman," a reference to the store where he assaulted her, during a phone interview with CNBC. He slammed the rulings against him as "ridiculous."

"I got charged. I was given a false accusation and had to post a $91 million bond on a false accusation,” said Trump.

This is clear cut. Carroll must sue again. She should take every last penny he has until he stops defaming her.

BREAKING: Democratic star Congressman Jamie Raskin brutally torches the entire Republican Party as having been "reduced to a cult of authoritarian personality" by their "monarch" Donald Trump.

Raskin didn't pull any punches this time...

"It is disgraceful that a great political party, much less Abraham Lincoln’s party, a party of liberty and union, should be reduced to a cult of authoritarian personality in league with autocrats and kleptocrats and dictators all over the world," Raskin said during an interview on MSNBC.

His remarks come in the wake of Nikki Haley dropping out of the Republican primary — and refusing to endorse Trump.

"I applaud Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, The Lincoln Project, all of the Republicans who are standing up for the Constitution, but what we’ve seen in this election, and we’ll have to follow what happens with Nikki Haley, is the Republicans break, but they can’t bend," Raskin went on.

"In other words, there’s no ability to accommodate other views because everybody has to follow Donald Trump, like a monarch," he said.

BREAKING: The estate of the late legendary musician Sinéad O’Connor throws down the legal gauntlet to "biblical devil" Donald Trump and demands that he stop playing her music at his fascist rallies.

This is absolutely perfect...

"Throughout her life, it is well known that Sinéad O’Connor lived by a fierce moral code defined by honesty, kindness, fairness and decency towards her fellow human beings," said O'Connor's estate in a joint statement with her longtime record label Chrysalis Records.

Trump has been playing O'Connor's hit 1990 song "Nothing Compares 2 U" at his campaign rallies during which he spews noxious racism, xenophobia, and anti-democracy messaging.

"It was with outrage therefore that we learned that Donald Trump has been using her iconic performance of ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ at his political rallies," the statement goes on. "It is no exaggeration to say that Sinéad would have been disgusted, hurt and insulted to have her work misrepresented in this way by someone who she herself referred to as a ‘biblical devil.’ As the guardians of her legacy, we demand that Donald Trump and his associates desist from using her music immediately."

O'Connor pass away in 2023 at the age of 56 of natural causes. She was a lifelong advocate for the oppressed and a dedicated enemy of inequality and exploitation. She despised Donald Trump.
