It happened! After a summer of digging we took out one of the largest and most complete skulls of #pachyrhinosaurus lakustai ever from Pipestone Creek. Nicknamed Big Sam it is so freaking cool! It will add so much to ceratopsian research! #dinosaur#samthesmallpachyrhinosaurus
Kinda a cool day! We flipped a #Pachyrhinosaurus skull and removed the jacket to expose the left side of the face that hasnโt been seen in 22 years! #dinosaur
And I was wearing my @dropout and @samreich socks to show that โIโve been here the whole timeโ
Had an incredible week at Grasslands National Park!๐ I loved being part of the field crew, such an awesome experience. Got to see some old paleo friends again & made so many new ones. Huge thanks to @royalsaskmuseum , @EL_Bamforth & @RyanMcKellar9 for organizing everything! ๐ฆ๐
๐ฆFossil Fever wrapped up over the weekend and we are excited to share some highlights. We brought back a bunch of hadrosaur bones (ribs, vertebrae), some tyrannosaur teeth and a claw, and the smallest juvenile Triceratops horn core we've seen in Saskatchewan!
It's so awesome to be back at the @CurrieMuseum!๐
I've already seen some cool 3D-scanning technology in action, and we've made so many exciting discoveries at #PipestoneCreekBonebed, including lots of teeth and amber! I can't wait to see what the next 2 weeks will bring!๐
New week, new conference! This week at #GASIR 2023!๐
It all started with a fantastic student isotope workshop, me presenting my poster and continued with cool talks & posters throughout the conference.

Tours of @BAS_News today for attendees of the Palaeontological Association annual meeting #PalAss2023. Delegates got to visit the fossil collections and ice core labs.
My friend @EileenStraube formerly from @PaleoFAU absolutely rocking it at #PalAss23 talking about extinction risk and geographic range loss, in a giant packed auditorium!
The last couple of days have been amazing! Many thanks to the @ThePalaeoverse team for organising this fantastic hackathon! I learned a lot and had so much fun working on this function with my team #TeamPotatoRocks!๐ And of course thanks a lot for this super cool prize!๐
Huge congratulations to our hackathon winning team @EileenStraube, @foradamifera, and @ThomasHearing for their approach to generating equal-area latitudinal bins! ๐๐ฉโ๐ป

What an amazing fieldtrip at the Permian of the Catalan Pyrenees! @Comp_PaleoBio@EAVPalaeo
Excited for our next #VirtualSpeaker this Friday at 11 am MST! The talented @EileenStraube from the University of Bayreuth in Germany will be telling us about #reefs through time. Link to the stream: https://t.co/iE4HC5q0NC @CurrieMuseum
Today I started preparing a partial juvenile #pachyrhinosaurus skull (Mini Boss) from the pipestone bonebed. So far I have a small corner of the forehead horn exposed and I found some nice amber and seeds.
Letโs see what Mini Boss is hiding in all that matrix.
Thank you @femke_holwerda and @RoyalTyrrell for allowing us to explore the collections last week! Brutus was pretty amazing! Not to mention everything else you showed us!
And thanks @EileenStraube for helping set up this incredible experience!
An amazing day at the pipestone creek bonebed. We found several notable fossils including a small #dromaeosaur tooth, a #ceratopsian tooth and a possible #Pachyrhinosaurus maxilla. @EileenStraube found an adorable #champsosaur vertebra which is a very rare find for the site
