A border poll was put on the table back in 1998 when the Good Friday Agreement was signed. He cannot use the referendums on brexit and Scottish Independence as a reason to not let us have a say on Irish Unity.

@PhilipIngMBE But he didn't articulate that. When he was asked why he used Brexit and Scottish Independence as reasons. I know a unity referendum wouldn't pass if it was called now, but he can't say it's off the table because of other referendums.
