@MikeFontaine23@spittinchiclets Answer this simple question, why is it Marner always received the blame for every playoff loss because it’s absurd how much of the scapegoat he was for Toronto when he’s not the only player that didn’t play great or produce in the playoffs but it’s Marner’s fault every time.
@Wuttunee91@spittinchiclets@BizNasty2point0 Getting the first overall pick is great but let’s not pretend that the expectations for the leafs were to miss the playoffs, it wasn’t this team is going to suck, and we’re going to be a lottery team that hopefully gets the 1st overall pick.
@Wuttunee91@spittinchiclets@BizNasty2point0 Yes well it’s truly pathetic that every playoff loss was blamed solely on Mitch and he was always the scapegoat for the leafs lack of success but if it’s ok to ask, how did your first season without him go?
@EthanPigou@spittinchiclets@BizNasty2point0 The problem with leafs fans is that every playoff loss had to be blamed on Marner and no one else, Marner was always the scapegoat for a fan base that didn’t deserve a player like him; but how was the first season without him because I’m just curious?
My ADHD brain happen to be all over the place as always last night and while watching Miami (OH) defeat SMU, i started to think that watching Miami (OH) guard Peter Suder play made me think that he seems to be what we think Troy Bolton played like in High School Musical.
@NFL_DovKleiman It’s not the most far fetched thing to say in all fairness, if you put aside the achievements such as winning every game this season including the national championship for Mendoza and just watch the highlights of individual performances then the eye test aspect makes more sense
@DobberHockey Canada not taking Bedard, Bouchard, and Schaefer although their reasoning would be his age well that’s an absurd reason but it’s their decision and it still makes no earthly amount of sense
@griff_howe@Bendo86494224@MolitorisNick And be honest would you have rather lost in OT by the way jack hughes scored which is more skill or if he shot or pass the puck in the direction of the net and it deflected off someone’s stick or gone off somebody’s skate?
@griff_howe@Bendo86494224@MolitorisNick Your reasoning for us not knowing anything about hockey being because we’re American is idiotic, and yes a turnover in 3 on 3 is more critical than 5 on 5 but my take was that 3 on 3 goals are more skilled and lest lucky bounces and deflections
@griff_howe@MolitorisNick Well let’s see, Mitch Marner 3 on 3 OT winner vs Czechia(skill based), Leon Draisaitl 5 on 5 OT winner vs Florida in game 4 of the Stanley cup finals last year( it deflected in ) lucky bounce.
@griff_howe@MolitorisNick 3 on 3 isn’t necessarily luck, if anything it’s more skill on the ice and a good goal and usually in 5 on 5 it’s a lucky bounce or deflection
@Breaking911 Please Toronto trade him away, your doing many teams a favor by giving him up, first you didn’t deserve marner, and now Matthews so please trade him
@spittinchiclets@VivaLaStool@Abbey18Murphy So it’s let’s wait for the women’s team response about the phone call and then when you don’t hear what you want to then you choose to get upset at their responses well how about you accept it that their are different opinions and it was same thing with Ellen Hughes as well.
@haddychi Canada not taking Bedard and Bouchard still baffles me and even choosing to not call him to the team after the injuries that happened to the roster still makes no sense
@leafyboyss Will you be joining the brainless senators fans that want Brady Tkachuk gone and now start expressing the idea of leafs fan wanting Matthews gone too; first you guys didn’t deserve Mitch Marner and now Auston Matthews
@SuburbanPolly@BradyTkachuk71@Senators Yes the senators should get rid of your best player and captain, man what a smart move; have you ever considered being a sports gm
