Wanted to share a few observations from our day-to-day work so people have a clearer picture of whatās happening in the server infrastructure market right now. This isnāt about any single component, vendor, or isolated case - itās about the broader trend weāre consistently seeing in the market.
Over the past two years, server hardware pricing has increased significantly, largely driven by AI-related data center expansion, which is putting major pressure on global supply chains and manufacturing capacity.
As a result, infrastructure costs in many cases are no longer comparable to what they were just 12ā18 months ago.

Of course, not every component is moving the same way, and actual pricing depends on configuration, timing, supply agreements, and purchasing volumes. But the broader trend is very clear - server infrastructure has become materially more expensive.
The key takeaway: meaningful new manufacturing capacity that could ease this pressure is not expected in the near term, so pricing pressure is likely to remain for some time.
If youāre planning infrastructure expansion, server refresh cycles, or new deployments, itās worth revisiting budgets sooner rather than later.

Today, Delska opened its office and data center doors to āshadowsā. We had the pleasure of showing them around the new 10 MW Riga data center andĀ the daily routine of our employees.
