ACPT. Pseudo-science and food waste upset me.
Hi @StenaLineUKIE - I was scheduled to sail between Dublin and Holyhead, haven't received any communication to the contrary but your socials are saying all sailings cancelled. Tried phoning, but it keeps saying to call back later. Can you help?
Hi @pharmacyshow - mine and my colleagues badges have just arrived for the show, trying to figure out why his says VIP and mine just says delegate! Can we change/upgrade mine?
@MartinSLewis ยฃ3 an hour for working in a corner shop. Worked 6hrs a week. Saved up my ยฃ18 a week for a couple of months, then went up the big smoke and bought a pair of rainbow needle cord flares (which I wore to death) and a blue guitar (which I never learned to play). ๐๐ญ
@SteveFo34413639@dealneil@MartinSLewis You're right, my bad! You'd need an APR of at least 11.39% (assuming you're compounding the interest every month) to match 1% cashback each month.
@TeddyLeppington@LCFCtilIDie1989@MartinSLewis It's horrible to feel like you are putting money into someone else's house, but you do these things because despite that, it's still your home. I hope you have a decent landlord since you sound like a decent tenant.
@TeddyLeppington@MartinSLewis I agree, lenders should look at cases individually, as no doubt people's affordability varies greatly based on so many more factors than their income. Unfortunately, the sad reality is that they don't and (I'm guessing) use computers that think in black and white to decide.
@TeddyLeppington@MartinSLewis No, I don't know you, and as far as our interaction here is concerned, I could say the same - I offered a legitimate explanation to your question. The system isn't perfect and you have every right to be angry, but it's misdirected at me. I hope you find a solution.
@TeddyLeppington@MartinSLewis That's an awful lot of assumptions to make about someone you don't know. I'm sorry you feel the need to take your anger out on someone you know next to nothing about.
@TeddyLeppington@MartinSLewis I'm sorry, where did I say that you get a free ride? I'm simply offering an explanation. Not everyone is as proactive a tenant as you are, and the rules are made for the majority rather than the minority.
@keay_jacqueline@MartinSLewis Put it in savings for sure. Type of savings will depend on how quickly you need access to the money. You'll get a better rate and return the longer you can lock the money away for, but only wise if you know you won't be buying for certain in that time frame.
