@Inferno_s_s And honestly, there is a recurring pattern in Wuwa that really seems to cater to harem fans. If the fanbase isn't strong enough to push back against it, the quality of Wuwa's story will gradually decline
@fpyWuMu@momocashew Please read my entire reply before leaving a comment. I’m not blaming anyone, but the reality is that making a post like this at this time will inevitably point the finger of public criticism at Wuwa. That's not a good thing when we don't even know whether Wuwa is at fault or not
@PieAlice55@momocashew First of all, I admire her talent because she’s genuinely very good at what she does, but I’m not a fan. Second, she’s a public figure, so she should understand how far her words can reach when she posts something publicly on social media
@Euphoralized@momocashew Because I don't behave the way you do, I have every right to question her professionalism. And if she wants to, she can go ahead and attack them, so we can all find out what actually happened 😉
@momocashew Just to make it clear, she doesn't say it outright, but making a post like that at this point is essentially the same as implying that she's talking about WuWa. And I'm not saying who's right or wrong in this situation; I'm just saying that making indirect remarks like that,
@momocashew I really admired you through your songs in Limbus Company, and I was genuinely thrilled when I found out you were singing for Wuwa. So seeing you make these kinds of subtle, shade-throwing posts is honestly quite disappointing
@Marcodmeatball You've got a point. A well-developed protagonist has moments to shine, but also knows when to take a back seat so other characters can shine. Constant spotlight just makes the plot one-dimensional, predictable, and boring. I really appreciate how Kuro built Rover.
@Scyrptor Overall, though, compared to Lahai Roi, where the characters are thoughtfully written, have depth, and interact extensively with one another across multiple patches, the cast in Xuanfang falls quite far behind
@Scyrptor Jingran, Suisui are rather underdeveloped characters. Beside that, Suisui is overly affectionate toward Rover despite seemingly having some awareness that her sister likes Rover, which makes the writing of these two characters, especially Suisui, feel rather problematic.
@Scyrptor Qingxiao was given more attention in terms of character development, but her characterization still feels fairly forgettable aside from her many aura-farming moments. The other three characters are all decent.
@Marcodmeatball Around 5 hours. Overall, it's pretty good, but not quite as outstanding as the major stories in other versions. Compared to the stories in the Xuanfang arc, it's better than 3.6 but not as good as 3.5.
@Marcodmeatball I don't know how they will develop Hsin's story going forward, but if they follow the same old formula again, it would honestly be a huge disappointment and an incredible waste of the design team's talent
@Marcodmeatball The story used to be genuinely entertaining in the past, but not anymore. The overuse of romantic fanservice to sell characters is starting to make me feel really fed up with the story
@Scyrptor There are way too many things that have declined in this patch. That’s why I think choosing Very Satisfied would only encourage this kind of direction and ultimately drag the game down
@Scyrptor I chose Very Dissatisfied, and I think everyone should consider choosing it too. If every patch ends up being like 3.6, would this still be the Wuthering Waves we know? Or would it just become another mediocre game where the only thing it has going for it is its beautiful design?
@GalCharoShipper@Skyx_March@WuWa_Verse1 Don't judge based solely on revenue, if revenue were the only standard, Genshin Impact and Love and Deepspace would be the two best gacha games of all time.
