Silvio Valletta is a senior police officer married to a govt MP. He led the investigation into my mum’s murder. When we filed a human rights case to have him removed, our govt called us enemies of the state. Now we find out he was holidaying with the man who murdered my mum.
The fact that most people seem to be more irked by a memorial (that no one ever noticed before) being used to commemorate a brutal assassination than the actual assassination continues to perplex me.
Not clearing tributes to #DaphneCaruanaGalizia at the protest memorial should be a given. #Malta has sunk so low that we're grateful for what is our right. Excuse me if I don't clap or turn it into a headline.
Senior Caruana Galizia murder investigator Silvio Valletta holidayed with main suspect Yorgen Fenech, @TheTimesofMalta has confirmed. https://t.co/vi7Z4XBFRl

For decades, the Dutch government used “Holland” and “the Netherlands” interchangeably to describe the country known for its iconic canals, tulip fields and cultural attractions, but as of Jan. 1, that is no longer the case https://t.co/t4IndqIr3J
Malta’s Prime Minister Muscat has finally resigned. However, the unresolved murder of #DaphneCaruanaGalizia still casts a dark shadow over the government. We stand by the Maltese people & will not rest until justice is done. #JusticeforDaphne
Let's show that it really is a new start by ensuring that all those who knew and were involved in Daphne's assassination face justice. That is when we can get peace of mind.
