@linkiekas It's high time the UB as our premier university give guidance on the usage of these honorary titles. I see some of these local supermarket universities dishing out these titles. Ghana, Malawi have started to provide rules on these esp that Africans like title they haven't earned

@_simplyenny These surnames extend all the way as far as Malawi among the Ngonis. Zwangendaba crossed the Zambezi into Zambia Malawi and parts of Tanzania. So these are not necessarily SA surnames but southern central africa

The river was like a Dati. Francistown is Nyangabwe - mda nyanga bgwe. Our ancestors were hiding there from invaders. Otherwise really the ndebeles are aliens in these areas.

@NewsLionSA I fully support SAs. Foreigners are a national security threat. No country shld allow itself to be swamped buy aliens. They just have to go back to their countries. Zims & Nigerians find it easy to go to other countries instead facing their challenges.

@zandatoto In fact in Zim they used to have Zulu as a subject before Ndebele was made a distinct lang. Basically there are only 3 languages in southern Africa, Sotho tswana, Nguni & karangashona

@MachonaMarco @ProfJNMoyo @gilbert_ga94083 @DrMutambudzi Great staff! One thing we always miss is making language synonymous with ethnicity. About 85% of people who speak Ndebele are not Ndebele. Most are Kalanga or Sotho. Most Moyos, ndlovus, Nyathi are not Ndebele.
