Aren't we repeatedly, unfailingly good at this though?. . ."reeling off people's good sides at their memorials". We thank them for all the good they did to and for us, nothing like what we said when they had life in them.
But, we can do better, I hope that we do, I urge us to.

We made a lot of noise, but, we delivered, as is expected of two excellent artists whose mantra the entire time was "whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well". We brought our A-game on.

she always brought us back up with Tems, then Adele, and other times, an acapella of "me, I just wanna go home".🤭

By the time we gave our rendition of Rihanna's "Lift Me Up", braaaaaah! we raised the roof and brought the entire space down, people trailed our sound,

The highlight for me, was our music. I supplied the Igbo songs, delved into @nathanielblow's "You're Mighty", just so I could belt 'sebi iwo lo fi oju orun se aso bora'. . . I'd practiced and there was no way I wasn't going to let Lagosians know

@leem.arts whose assistant I was on this commissioned project by @ecobank_nigeria did more of Adele and other oyinbo artists, I plunged us deep into P-Square and Chike, then Arya Star, Tiwa, Simi, Patoranking,

@EkeneMay @thescarletgomez I usually forget to turn on my camera when I am engrossed in projects….. when @ekenemay and I got to the floor,she was like hold up! Let’s do a Timelapse of the process. Thank God she remembered,we would have completed the project with no evidence that it was hand drawn&painted

@EkeneMay I mean it when I say this is my most fun and interactive project. I got the privilege to meet so many creative people who visited Ecobank’s photo studio and have them leave a mark on the piece. And that include the Wonderful actress @thescarletgomez she is such an easygoing Angel

When I got the commision,I knew I couldn’t do it alone. I needed someone to help me fill in the colors while I outline the patterns,that way it’s faster and I can wrap it up on time. Thankfully my friend @EkeneMay (an amazing artist) agreed to stay back in Lagos with me❤️
