This provides opportunity for delegates to learn about ultrasound QA & ask questions during an interactive session, then in the afternoon work with Manufacturers who bring along their scanners for delegates to be able to gain guided hands-on experience by our panel of experts.

Congratulations to Lois in Nuclear Medicine Physics who has now been awarded 'Radioactive Waste Advisor' (RWA) certification. RWA is a legally required appointment responsible for the oversight of the safe handling, storage and disposal of radioactive waste. Amazing work Lois!

Merry Christmas from Angus on a Jaszczack phantom 🎄🧑‍🎄 In Nuclear Medicine, Angus uses the Jaszczack phantom to assess image quality in SPECT acquisitions. It contains different sized rods and spheres which we can count and see if the camera can see even the smallest ones!

Nuclear Medicine Physics are celebrating trainee clinical scientist Becky being awarded a distinction in her Medical Physics MSc with the @UniOfSurrey! Becky's dissertation explored the use of post processing software on NM bone scans with exciting plans for future work!
