On Sunday, August 22, 2021, our officers responded to a stabbing in the 800 block of Adams Avenue. While we realize these images are grainy, we are asking for the public's assistance. If you have any information, please contact Detective Adrian Chilpa at (760) 335-4662.
Officers conducted traffic enforcement in the area of 8th Street and Aurora Drive and the 8th Street and I-8 overpass this morning. Several citations were issued for unsafe speed.
We urge all motorist to slow down and put your phone down while driving.
Officers responding to a disturbance call this past weekend encountered a subject armed with a handgun and to be illegally in possession of over 380 Oxycodone pills and methamphetamine. The situation was resolved peacefully and the individual was arrested.

This morning our officers responded to a suspicious person's call after a citizen noticed two males "out cold" in a vehicle with broken windows. Officers located the two males and two illegally modified/manufactured firearms in their possession. Both men were arrested.
Officers conducted a traffic stop at 2:01 a.m., this morning and recovered an unregistered handgun, 28.7 grams of methamphetamine, and 92 oxycodone pills.

Members of our department participated in the 12th Annual Imperial Valley Law Enforcement Relay Run this morning. The relay brings current and retired law enforcement, military, and firemen together to honor those who have served and fallen in the line of service.
Today is National Police Officer Day. Today is one of many days where we remember all of those who have worn the badge and lost their lives selflessly serving their communities. For those that have gone before us and for those that follow, rest easy...we have the watch.
