@grantbelden My Cybertruck and my wife's Model Y drive us everywhere. She pushes a button when leaving our house and her Tesla takes her to work everyday. We went to Dallas last weekend and never touched the controls. You are full of sh!t.
Also, my investment in Tesla goes way beyond the financial stability I have with my self-directed IRA. I have their solar and their power walls, and the eight power outages we have had in the last three years, I have felt none of them. I don't have stupid UPS units laying around my house anymore. Oh, and my electricity bill is a quarter of what it was before.
@gnoble79@elonmusk I trust reality and my daily experience with my Cybertruck to know that people like you are just mentally ill. I have not driven my truck, or manually controlled my truck, except to park, and that is only occasionally, based on preference. Every single mile is driven by FSD.
@PghPennStateDad@krassenstein@FinalTelegraph That is not how the right operates. We just think people are stupid but wouldn't want to take away their lives or livelihood because they are stupid.
Exactly. I have lots of friends who are liberal (not leftists). They don't like guns, I love em. They don't like Trump, I don't either but like much of his policies. We remain great friends and just leave politics out of our friendship. They are great people even if we have different political stances.
@krassenstein@FinalTelegraph Not from my perspective. For example, when I see a car with Harris/Waltz stickers or Biden/Harris stickers, my first thought is "wonder why they think like that?", not "I must vandalize that car because I don't like their politics.
@krassenstein I applaud your ability to separate politics from logical decision making. I happen to like much of what Trump and the Republicans are doing to this country. We can disagree on that but we don't have to be enemies.
You don't trust software to keep you safe? So, no home alarm, no air travel, no train travel, no cruises, no city travel in a vehicle (traffic lights use software)? That $100 a month has saved me time and money in accident avoidance. It has reduced long trip fatigue, and allowed me to stay productive even while supervising the truck. A 5 hour drive to OKC? No problem, I was able to relax the entire trip. The cabin is bulletproof to 9mm, I can turn sharper, adapt to more terrain, and power all kinds of stuff including my entire house. I've never needed to haul a generator 400 miles without stopping, but I have needed to power my house when a severe storm knocked out power for a couple of days.
@ElGuapo928@real_frenchy@Abert_Squirrel@krassenstein There are actually zero blind spots when using FSD. The system sees more than any human and all at the same time while being able to make decisions 10 times quicker. Can your truck power a house when the electricity is out? Mine can. For three days. Which one is less capable?
@Abert_Squirrel@krassenstein@Abert_Squirrel you’re an idiot. Objectively the safest truck you can buy (rated by safety agencies). I’ve had mine since Feb 2025. So far it’s saved me from 3 accidents, and also saved more than 4 deer, one dog, and countless squirrels.
