Yesterday we launched Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game. We had a few unfortunate setbacks but all of the teams at @paramountgames @avatar_fighters @PMStudiosUSA gave it their heart and soul to make sure we launched one of the best fighting games you can experience. This project was a dream come true for me as I am very passionate about fighting games and the community. I am truly grateful to be a part of this experience and I assure you that all of the teams will keep this going! We also hit the top sellers list on Steam!

@meatmorgue @BlemmyaeTruther There's a difference between seeing a combat and seeing a desert VS the careful research it took on Last Airbender to make sure each element took clear inspiration from a specific martial art and each nation was a parallel of an Eastern culture. You dont see that here or in Korra

dont love that the Avatar franchise going forward is going to forgo mandarin and hiring professional translators & hanzi calligraphers. at least there was respect & effort now its just a fantasy language with script meant to resemble asian languages how disapointingly Orientalist

Avatar legends is def a little rough around the edges, but I think a lot of y'all need to be fr if you think jank combo trial demos or Ozai virtual insanity-ing all over the place are things that would kill the game.

@izutsulyn On ps5 you gotta use the touch pad, and my controller simply doesn't have any button that I can map to it. So I gotta either go to try breakdown and take it out real fast or reset manually by moving the characters.
