@bhamweatherBham@LonnieQuinnTV@CBSNews@komonews Though it should be noted that that would still technically be unofficial, but is still likely to be the confirmed high as temps are not often adjusted. If they are it is usually only +/- one degree f
@bhamweatherBham@LonnieQuinnTV@CBSNews@komonews By the way, checked again and 100 is still the reported highest observed temp, should be confirmed in 3 day historical observations when 6 hr highs and lows are posted in the right column around 4:53 pm
@bhamweatherBham@LonnieQuinnTV@CBSNews@komonews Well I'm going by the official noaa station (unoffical temps as of right now), the station high of 100 is as official as is 98. I trust noaa obs over komo or cbs reporting therefore I assume 100 is the observed temp until corrected in noaa station reporting...
Update from Mae Webster- BCEHS unit chief in Merritt.
"The hospital, main drag and ambulance station are burnt down in #Lytton. It also sound like a lot of the residents have been taken south and you can't get through from the north end of Lytton right now."
@RebeccaHewitt18 Correction for clarity: dew points were not 100 degrees, but rather dew points in the 70-80 degree range were observed at air temperatures of 100 degrees
@RebeccaHewitt18 Look at the dew points over the last 4 days on the eastside/snoqualmie river valley/enumclaw area. Though relative humidity was low, the dew points were gulf coast level (70-80) even above 100 degrees which would be unbearable even to cities mentioned. Thankfully less today.
@RebeccaHewitt18 I believe I even saw a temp of 113 at the Ardmore park station in NE Bellevue with a (tropical) dew point of 70, translating to a dangerous heat index over 50 C (122F)!
@RebeccaHewitt18 Ex. dew point hit 77 near me on Sunday while temps were around 100-105, translating to heat index around 120 degrees! Closer to the sound, dew points were around 10-20 degrees lower, but if you were East of I-5 or lake WA over the past few days, you could feel the humid air.

Check sites in Sammamish, Snoqualmie, Bellevue, Carnation, Duvall, Enumclaw, look at site history etc over the last few days. Really unbelievable levels of humidity totally unprecedented for this region. Dew points hit 80 in some places, akin to SE Asia
@KyleBumpus @itsDJComputer @KSeattleWeather That may have been during peak heat, but look right now and its in the lower to mid 70s on the eastside east again, you can also look at 3 or 7 days worth of data at the noaa obs stations to see the high dew points here since saturday.
@KyleBumpus @itsDJComputer @KSeattleWeather These are the weather stations in South Bellevue, and if you check snoqualmie, sammamish, duvall, carnation, enumclaw area today and yesterday data you will see dew points consistently in the mid 70's-80 for at least part of the day. Dew points still in the 70s
@konyenkaptain Depends on where you are, the temp spread at the station near me today was a high of 110 and a low of 84 with dew points between 70-77 all day long.
