Que hayamos permitido que gente con la capacidad intelectual de una lubina sea millonaria en vez de estar cavando zanjas es una cosa que jamás comprenderé.

Ojo, no me refiero a los/as creadores/as de contenido que crean entretenimiento que aporta valor real (contenido largo, generalmente) para la gente que busca ocio, pero la cantidad de personas, sobre todo mujeres, a las que se ha hecho creer que pueden ser ricas únicamente por el hecho de ser bonitas porque el género masculino está completamente plagado de pajeros es sencillamente lamentable.

La belleza siempre ha sido algo comercializable, y no es de extrañar que los extremos como Brad Pitt o Megan Fox triunfen mayormente por su físico, pero que cualquier niña a la que no te acercarías en una discoteca o en un bar pueda conseguir millones de seguidores si se sexualiza lo suficiente (o incluso sin sexualizarse) subiendo cientos de vídeos cortos cuyo solo contenido es mostrar su cara/cuerpo con alguna frase ridícula únicamente porque los “hombres” (para mí no lo son) idealizan y mistifican cualquier cosa que ven en redes y babean por cualquier mujer roza el patetismo.

El contenido corto en general es veneno, los algoritmos nos atontan (me incluyo) y nos tienen horas consumiendo tonterías que jamás buscaríamos en vez de ocupar ese tiempo en ocio concreto (quiero ver una peli/vídeo/serie/leer) con una duración determinada, y no descartaría que fuera tan adictivo como cosas que consideramos drogas y quizás debiera limitarse/prohibirse (o al menos permitir desactivarlo en Instagram/Youtube).
