@FaringForwards If we want the quality of the judiciary to go the same way as parliament, we should keep cutting their salary and pension schemes and keep giving them offices like this.
2 ideas here:
1. a market for territory (not states) - not enormously controversial.
2. regional secession rights - great if you want to see the people who happen to live in successful cities, coastal areas and areas of mineral deposits constantly deserting the rest!
FAZ on a Greenland deal: "a market for states is a good idea", since states are legal persons and international law is at its core private law. Ends, funnily enough, with a plea for the right of secession, citing the case of rich regions burdened with supporting poorer ones

@sonnysehra@sonnysehra@yuanyi_z I'm not sure this is as obscure as you think. The original LP sells for high prices and there have been a couple of reissues in Japan & UK in the last decade. Nice music though!
@FaringForwards Indeed. Probably one of his daughters, I have assumed based on her appearance. I think there is some paint/colour loss in her hair and face, which explains the lack of detail - again another assumption on my part.
@adamlangleben Excellent nominative determinism here, but what do you mean about the state having the power to take life. That's not the proposal, is it?
@liliebayer@doberah Do you really have to say "the former communist east" every time you refer to Sachsen, Thueringen etc? It's so tiresome to reduce people to the circumstances of over 30 years ago.
