@courierdition33 If you know what you're doing, you'll roll less. But it's still the most used defensive mechanic and looks out of place how often it is used. We get used to it when we play the game- you hardly even notice it. But especially when watching PvP it looks egregious at times.
@courierdition33 You guys are caught up on "panic rolling". That was just hyperbole. How about, using a roll as a primary defensive mechanic for something where it'd look stupid in real life or even a movie? Like when the ER movie comes out, will they chain roll? If so it'll just be a callback.
@courierdition33 BTW, doesn't Bloodborne actually do this right? So why can't the other games do it? For lack of PS4 I haven't played it, but when I played AI Limit I heard it used the same system as Bloodborne. Which is it uses quick dashes while locked on and dodge rolls while unlocked.
@DaeMetal Well see if you can get in as media pass or something? Heh. I mean I wish everyone announced stuff better it definitely affects turnout since it feels like luck to even hear about events sometimes but I think they’ve been overrun with festivals on Japan side and cons on USA side.
@Husvero@bloody_poptart A game should try to sunset PvP features when player-base dwindles but...
Anyway, in theory you would get forcefully pulled into a relatively devious PvP player's world and have to fight them or struggle through their traps so it's gonna be a bit tame without their interference.
