I Love A Good Unexpected Social Experiment: A Thread- Part 2

The next two are more recent. I’ll state two facts before explaining. #1: I work in a bank and #2: I LOVE a good pen.

That being said, when I see a coworker using a pen, I ask if I can try it.

I said, “too scratchy?” She says “yeah. I don’t like that tip. It’s different from this one” and I said “but they’re the same tip size…that doesn’t make sense….”

She shrugged it off and said “idk then but it’s scratchier”

In short, everyone who we had try the Crystal Pepsi that day, without them having any prior knowledge (to our awareness) of Crystal Pepsi being a thing, all thought it was sprite (or in one random case, a #ClearAmerican flavored water)

Background on the first social experiment from back in 2016. I used to LOVE @pepsi. It was the only soda I would drink. So when I first saw #CrystalPepsi I snatched a couple of bottle because why not.

After explaining that it was Pepsi, she grabbed one of my bottles and we raced to her parents and they ALSO SAID IT WAS SPRITE!

Her father being a very skeptical trust no one ex military even SNIFFED IT

Wafted the busting fizz toward his nose and said “smells like citrus” !!

Y’all want to know why @MorganWallen didn’t get cancelled for saying the N-Word?! Because we all do it. We all say the N-Word in the privacy and comfort of friends. The difference? He was seen doing it on video. We couldn’t be mad at him for something we all do 😂
