– I also want to commend President Trump for his unwavering determination to confront the major threats facing free nations today. Among these, I highlight the growing influence of authoritarian powers across our hemisphere and the relentless attacks on freedom of speech, open debate, and social media — foundational elements for the flourishing of our societies in today's world. In Brazil, our work toward these same goals has been interrupted, but I am confident it will soon be resumed, by the grace of God and the help of the Brazilian people.

– Like President Trump, I believe that securing our borders, combating organized crime, restoring judicial impartiality, and reviving traditional values are indispensable pillars for protecting our nations from everything that prevents them from prospering.

– Brazil and the United States share more than just a strategic alliance: we are heirs to a legacy that places human life and God above the state and political ideologies.

– Unfortunately, those currently in power in Brazil are working to distance our country from the free world and bring it closer to dictatorships such as those in Venezuela and Nicaragua, and to terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. But this will change, as the Brazilian people are becoming increasingly aware that this fight to preserve our shared values is more than a political choice; it is a moral and historical duty. Together, we can stand against the forces that seek to rewrite our history, fragment our families, and steal the future of the next generations.

– Under Trump’s leadership, the West is being reborn. May this new era mark a renewed commitment between the friends of freedom in the United States and Brazil, in defense and promotion of life, our traditions, and the Christian values shared by our peoples.
