Another night at the Sanctuary of Chaos. ๐
Little work in progress for Alricโs Incubus form. Heโs been heavily inspired by Raphael from Baldurโs Gate 3โฆ
Heโs still a work in progress, so if you think thereโs something I should add or change, let me know. Iโm always looking for ideas & people to chat with.

Everyone has been posting this quiz, so... I caved.
I'm Fresh Mint... it described me better than I expected.
I'm the type of person people naturally come to when they need someone to listen. The type who enjoys learning, notices when someone is struggling, and genuinely wants to help.
I won't pretend that's always easy.
Sometimes caring too much is exhausting. Sometimes you give pieces of yourself to people who never intended to stay. But I'd rather continue believing in people than become someone who's afraid to care and love.
If there's one thing I've learned, it's this:
Find people who make you feel safe enough to be yourself.
The ones who respect your boundaries.
The ones who communicate.
The ones who make you laugh until your stomach hurts.
The ones who bring you peace instead of chaos.
Whether they're your FC, your best friend, your partner, or someone you met through a silly game...
Those are the people worth holding onto.
And if you're still looking...
Don't lose hope.
Someone out there is hoping to find a friend like you as well.

Elarion Backstory:
โ ๏ธWARNING SENSITIVE & CONTROVERSIAL SUBJECT IN STORYโ ๏ธ
Long before he would become known as the God of Justice, Elarion was simply a young man born into a world far removed from Oris.
He was born into a family of no wealth, influence, or noble standing. Though poor, his parents loved him deeply and worked tirelessly to provide for their children. Even so, life was difficult, and Elarion learned from an early age that if he wanted something, he would have to earn it himself.
At thirteen years old, Elarion's life changed forever.
Following an exhausting training exercise at the public academy, he found himself alone with someone he considered his closest friend. Vulnerable and physically exhausted, Elarion was betrayed by the person he trusted most. โ ๏ธHis friend was larger, stronger, and took advantage of him while he was unable to defend himself.โ ๏ธ
He never spoke of what happened.
The pain, shame, and helplessness became wounds he carried in silence.
Rather than allowing those wounds to consume him, Elarion buried them beneath discipline and determination. While others enjoyed their youth, he worked multiple jobs to help support his family and assist in raising his younger siblings. Every spare moment was dedicated to training, studying, or working. He became obsessed with self improvement. If he could become strong enough, skilled enough, and capable enough, then perhaps he would never again be powerless.
By the age of eighteen, Elarion had risen to become one of the most accomplished fighters in both his academy and the surrounding region. His dedication earned him recognition and opportunities that few from his background could ever hope to achieve. Yet despite his accomplishments, the scars of his past remained. To the world, Elarion appeared confident, disciplined, and successful. None realized how much pain hid behind the mask he wore every day.
After graduation, Elarion earned admission into a prestigious private university. There, his interests expanded beyond martial pursuits. He developed a passion for science, philosophy, and the pursuit of knowledge. For the first time, he began asking questions that many people were afraid to ask.
At the same time, he became known for helping others. Whether through financial assistance, sponsorship, mentorship, or simply offering a listening ear, Elarion became someone people could rely upon. He knew what it felt like to suffer alone, and he never wanted another person to experience that same isolation.
As his studies continued, his attention turned toward religion and the nature of divinity.
Throughout his life, he had listened to priests and followers speak of benevolent gods, divine plans, and sacred trials. Yet the explanations never sat well with him. If the gods were good, why did innocent people suffer? If the gods were just, why did terrible things happen to those who had done nothing wrong? Why was suffering so often dismissed as a test, a lesson, or part of some greater plan? The answers he received felt hollow.
Rather than accepting faith alone, Elarion sought evidence. Through science, reason, and observation, he dedicated himself to uncovering the truth behind the divine. The more he learned, the more convinced he became that gods were not omnipotent beings beyond understanding, but simply individuals who possessed power far greater than those around them. What began as curiosity slowly grew into conviction. Elarion refused to accept answers simply because they were widely believed. If truth existed, he intended to find it himself.
Armed with his skills, education, and an unrelenting desire to understand the world around him, Elarion eventually left behind the life he had always known. He set out in search of new lands, new knowledge, and new challenges, believing that every unanswered question was simply another mystery waiting to be solved.
He did not seek glory, wealth, or power. He sought understanding.
Sadly, thatโs the world we live in now.
Iโve watched disagreements turn into harassment campaigns. Fuck, I had to retire my main character because people couldnโt let things go. Data center transfers, blacklists, avoiding certain communitiesโฆ none of it mattered. The drama followed, and eventually started affecting the people I interacted with.
Thatโs the part Iโll never understand.
We can disagree. We can even think someone has a terrible take. But why does it always have to escalate into trying to punish, isolate, harass, or destroy someone?
Some of the same people preaching acceptance, kindness, and inclusion are the first ones reaching for the pitchforks when they find someone they disagree with.
At some point we need to relearn how to have conversations without turning everything into a war.
