1/ What is Elata?
Elata is a launchpad for brain interfacing apps.
We’ve combined easy browser tools with private, on-device processing and cryptoeconomics to help anyone ship one.
It’s orchestrated so builders get paid fairly and users can actually own a piece of the value they create.
These improvements solve a major issue in neuroscience around heterogeneity.
Everyone’s brain and biological profile is different.
By combining results across user groups on a global level, Elata can make significant progress towards a world where we increasingly understand the human brain while ensuring no one is exploited or forced to trust a third-party with their data in the process.
3/
We just finished orchestrating our Federated Learning model.
What this means is that every user on Elata receives a personalized “neuro profile” based on their app usage in the ecosystem.
The neuro profile uses your data to learn more about your unique biology, and makes each app experience more and more personalized over time.
While all data lives on your device, and stays encrypted the whole time.
1/
On-device parameters (not raw data) are aggregated securely using SOTA encryption.
These parameters are then used to train a global model that gets installed on devices by default and updated over time.
This creates a positive feedback loop where every use on the platform is used to make every marginal user experience better, while simultaneously ensuring user privacy for everyone.
2/
Building your real-life stats should be as fun and easy as a video game
Our early ecosystem features apps for focus, recovery, and longevity enhancement built for the next generation of personal performance

Come launch a neurotech/biofeedback app on the Elata App Store monetized with In-App Purchases.
You can build a cross platform app that works with webcam only (rPPG, heart rate, HRV, etc) or with commercially available EEG devices.

1/ Crypto suffers from too much tokenization
Too many tokens, not enough real-world value
Apps on Elata solve this by pushing real demand before a token launch
Let’s dive into what all this means ↓
4/ Tokens on Elata are issued to augment existing demand
Tokens can be great, but they have been abused in practice
No amount of financial engineering or new bonding curve mechanisms can fix this either
On Elata, builders launch a token only after they hit critical mass based on real app usage
And that’s exactly what we support
incremental then exponential
DAUs went from single digits in early april, WAUs barely existed, and now visitors and pageviews are up 1.3K%+ all within 1 month of launching the closed beta of the @Elata_Bio app store
session time already sitting at 13 minutes
something turned on out of the blue
closed beta invites started going out in april and people started forwarding them faster than we sent them
interestingly enough, the points and faucet pages are getting more traffic than the homepage from anyone who isn't landing on it for the first time
people want engagement, people want ELTA, people want leaderboards, people want gamification
we didn't pay for any of this
opening up more waitlist spots this week. tell me why you should get one
community notes aside, the core point stands: frontier models still struggle with these types of tasks
designing algorithms to remotely get biometrics remains nontrivial, and one that we are solving with @Elata_Bio
recent research has seen algorithms for remote monitoring perform with remarkable accuracy (example: https://t.co/UHoqvltBe2) when compared to robust inpatient equipment (r = 0.962 with ipad camera vs ecg)
llms were not designed to have these sort of specialized embeds
What if your webcam could tell if you're too stressed to trade?
That's Trade Lock - one of the first apps built with the @Elata_Bio SDK
Sit down, camera on, & it reads your HR in real time
Move out of the frame and it stops
Contactless biofeedback straight in your browser
No wearable needed & no raw data leaving your device
Pretty cool to see v1 of the Elata SDK working this well
If you want early access to the first apps built with the SDK or want to build with it, let me know & I'll onboard you personally
1/ We just launched Elata SDK, allowing anyone to build an app for contactless bio-feedback.
For the first time, you can build apps for the web that deliver real-time insights for highly personalized biometrics.
ML runs locally to ensure data privacy without compromising performance.
Let’s get into what this entails 👇
6/ Join the waitlist for early platform access, or build your own app today using the Elata SDK.
The SDK supports web, so that apps are delivered to users directly through a browser.
