Transforming Futures, One Village at a Time.
Evident from a large-scale evaluation study in 2024, the Safe Village Program has proven to be an effective initiative in changing the knowledge, attitudes and practices of fathers, mothers, girls, boys and Grassroots Stakeholders.
With support from the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP), Operation Peacemaker of My Choices Foundation conducts School Awareness Programs.

This testimony comes from a man who attended a counselling session at one of our centres — part of Operation PeaceMaker’s five counselling and support centres across Shah Ali Banda, Golconda, Lakdikapul, Warangal and Secunderabad in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
We believe real, lasting change in the fight against gender-based violence and sex trafficking begins with inclusion — and that includes boys and men.
"When we empower boys to see strength in empathy and courage in kindness, we shape a different future."

For 12 years, we have stood on the frontlines, facing two of the greatest challenges affecting women and children in India—sex trafficking and domestic violence.
Something impactful, something magical, something showcasing transformation is on its way…

"There is no tool for development more effective than the education of girls."
-Ban Ki-moon
When we educate girls, we break cycles of poverty, violence, and exploitation. An educated girl is empowered, and an empowered girl changes the world!

In India, gender inequality remains a significant challenge, deeply rooted in societal norms and stereotypes that manifest from a young age.
We are committed to addressing these inequalities early on through our Safe Village Programs and school initiatives.
We are so honoured to share that @elcagrobler, Founder of My Choices Foundation, has been featured in Conglomerate Magazine's upcoming edition: "Asia's Pioneering Champions for Women's & Girls' Rights to Watch in 2025."

As we approach #ValentinesDay, let’s remember that while many celebrate love, for 1 in 3 women in India, love has meant violence (NFHS-4).
For survivors of domestic violence, this day can serve as a painful reminder of the abuse they have endured.
For too many women and girls, what should be love and safety is twisted into control, fear, and harm. They are trapped by the deceit of love—a love that wounds instead of heals, controls instead of frees.
