Elcho House, Head of House Mrs Grierson: building a community of support with parents, carers and staff around our young people @perthhighschool #weAREelcho
Mrs G’s monthly reflections: in November I enjoyed my first joint assembly with Miss Thomson! This month I’m looking forward to supporting S6 UCAS candidates with their application forms. Why not give the monthly reflections a go? It’s a great way to identify some positives 👍🏻🌞
Mrs G’s monthly reflections: in August I enjoyed starting to get to know the S1s and introducing the new House Captaincy team at House assembly. This month I’m looking forward to the S1 Willowgate trip. Why not do your own monthly reflections? It’s an easy way to be positive 🌞👍🏻
Happy Friday all! All of my PSE classes were fabulous this week, especially my S1s. Well done all for being kind and respectful and working hard. Make sure you rest and do something fun for yourself this weekend. Take care and see you on Monday! #weareElcho#wearePHS 💛👍🏻😊
A huge well done to all pupils and staff for yesterday’s successful fire drill practice. Very impressed with all classes lining up and waiting patiently until it was finished. Remember to keep this standard up anytime we hear the fire bell so we can keep everyone safe 👍🏻😊
Reminder of our fire drill practice TOMORROW morning, Tuesday 20th August. Do not go up to Floor Four. Meet on the field by 9 a.m. please. Your P.S. teacher will take the register. See you there! 👍🏻
A huge well done to everyone on the first week of our new session. Wonderful to see my S4s, S1s and 2E4 in PSE lessons. Looking forward to seeing my other PSE classes soon. Have a restful weekend, take care and do something for yourself 👍🏻#MrsGisproudofyou#weareElcho#wearePHS
Lovely to see everyone back today, looking super smart! S2 assembly is tomorrow and S1 assembly is Friday. Remember to go straight to the Assembly Hall at Personal Support time. Hope everyone has a positive rest of week. Work hard, be kind and show respect! #MrsGisproudofyou 👍🏻
One more sleep until I welcome my new S1s for their first official day @PerthHighSchool! Remember to go straight to your Personal Support (registration) class on Floor Four by 9 a.m. If you’re confused just ask, someone will be happy to help! See you soon! Excited! #weAREElcho
For anyone feeling wobbly about school on Wednesday please remember: lots of people feel this way, it’s completely natural after a long break. It’s a short week and I’ll be there to help so if you need a chat, let me know at P.S. time #weareElcho#MrsGisproudofyou
Thinking of all SQA candidates receiving results today. I hope you get what you’re seeking but if not, please remember: you are not alone, there are people who can help and there is #NoWrongPath. Remember our careers adviser Jennie is in school today if you need her. #weareElcho
If you know someone who is receiving #SQAresults tomorrow, they might be feeling nervous or stressed.

If you’re finding the holidays hard, please remember this is totally normal, natural and you’re not alone. Try to stick to sensible eating, exercise and sleeping routines. Talk to someone you trust. Be kind to yourself. Remember, you matter, you’re important! #weareElcho 😊🌻👍🏻
