The brazen lawlessness should be terrifying to anyone with half a brain. Not surprising — but terrifying. From day one, @SecRubio’s dictator tendencies have been on full display. It’s political science 101 that weakening checks and balances and consolidating power in one branch of government (usually the executive) without meaningful limits marks a shift away from democracy and toward authoritarianism. Oh & he should be disbarred, because the “law” he claims doesn’t exist is called the Constitution — and it requires permission.
