I'm not sure this ignorant fuck @SaltyGoat17 has a full grasp of the United States Constitution, so I'll explain.

Sherrill v. Knight (D.C. Cir. 1977). The court held that because the White House voluntarily made press facilities available, access "cannot be denied arbitrarily or for less than compelling reasons."

AP v. Budowich, 2025. The Judge wrote that if the government "opens its doors to some journalists… it cannot then shut those doors to other journalists because of their viewpoints."

So, while these outlets still have the right to report, without an automatic right to a desk inside the White House. What they DO have, under existing precedent, is a strong claim that the government cannot pick which credentialed reporters get in based on whether @realDonaldTrump likes their stories.
