EARNEST, EARNEST? (@PittPoetry) is 6 months old TODAY!
I would say it’s weird to have a book come out during a pandemic, but this is my 1st book. And I was already deeply weird.
THANKS to everyone who read my words, especially now!
@jasonbcrawford This one from @EleanorBoudreau ‘s debut collection gets me every time and somehow makes the form feel more accessible in its excellence.
SO excited to be an AL Poetry Delegate! BIG THANKS to the incredible work of @ashberry813!

"If you try to make paper dolls do anything at all
their clothes fall off, they can't stand up,
the tabs slip the slots.
. . . . . . .
Every book is a prison of sisters."
-- from "In the Paper Dollhouse All the Rooms Collapse" by Melissa Ginsburg
Couldn’t be prouder to have this time-capsule of early pandemic dread featured @FrontierPoetry today. So grateful to @isjonespoetry and the whole team!
I want him to forget you, woman curlicued around
the camera, pressing time into blackberry ash, so that
the only thing he ever learns to grow is smoke.

@SandmanSimonds @realLEXcalibur Same! Also, this coming week, my Women in Lit students are finishing Virginia Woolf’s Orlando. After that, they’ll read your Orlando. Will let you know how it goes!
Humbled to have read my poem “When You Are Nine” with this incredible group of writers from @mqr_tweets Winter ‘22 issue. Give it a listen—it’s a great way to spend the morning! https://t.co/kKo4tVOn5f
