Super proud of Alma, in my cohort at Exeter, who has had one of her assignments from first year published in EPIP! Well worth a read for EPs interested in neurodiversity and self-diagnosis through social media https://t.co/V9nOWCO6Ix
@Aliceerosee30 I use the loop experience 2 earplugs pretty much whenever there’s background noise, got them from Amazon for about £30 and they have lasted me years! Keep them on my keys 😊

a year today since I graduated from Oxford after being told it was ‘a bit out of reach for people like you’, a year and 1 day since I got a last minute interview invite that led to a place on the doctorate… never let anyone make you think your goals are unachievable!
Positive, inclusive language matters. The NHS, World Health Organisation, Royal National Institute for Deaf People, National Deaf Children’s Society and many others use the terms ‘hearing loss’ or ‘deaf’ but I’m noticing some councils have ‘hearing impairment teams’ /1
