Do Han-guk hip hop artists realize how much influence they have? They are in a way changing what hip hop means to Korean people by giving it its own Korean culture.

I have been wondering if this Han-guk hip hop is cultural appropriation. Although it was inspired by American hip hop. It is different because of the sound and language and it has its own culture now.

@RKumarIU I agree that having Korea ads without Korean celebrities is a smart way to promote Korea. I feel like when you add idols or actors you are promoting them rather than the country.

@RKumarIU The Feel the Rhythm of Korea ad is definitely more for k-pop and k-drama fans. Also it’s just weirder so it would catch people’s eyes more.

I don’t see as many kpop idols get made fun of for having tan skin. Though it is still common for idols to have their photos edited to make them look paler.

A beauty queen could help. However, it would take more than just one beauty queen. For example, Miss Korea 2018 wasn’t a typical beauty. She was heavier than the ideal standard (she was still at a really healthy weight though).

Quick rant, I am a bit confused by the concept of Uke and Seme. I do not understand how Seme are the ones making the moves but they are also aloof. I feel like that is contradictory.
