@bestwestern Basic right for a paid room is to access hot water: the hot tap in sink was spitting so couldn’t be used either.

@bestwestern It was booked under my sister’s name: Rachel Falcon. The hotel’s response is completely unacceptable. They admitted that a workman had been working on the room. They didn’t offer to move us or contact us in the morning before we left- as they said they would.

@MissStanleyYr6 I have to say that translation on iPads (although perhaps the most obvious) has made the biggest difference in terms of these children’s independence. When there’s time, a TA will also do a weekly S&L session with them so they can gain confidence in a small group.

@rachelburden @bbc5live @BBCSounds Unrealistic and unobtainable expectations of schools in spite of lack of funding and higher proportions of SEN/EAL pupils in mainstream schools. Staff well-being is severely impacted as they’re expected to teach, parent, provide mental health support w/out resources or funding!

@_MissieBee This looks great and I’d love to try it. We have used Reading Sketchbooks in y6 this year as a trial and it’s has pros and cons… how do you monitor children reading to adults at home? Is there an expectation for this to be recorded? Thanks!
