Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the thrilling conclusion of the FFVII Remake Series, launches simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store and Steam in Spring 2027.
Slowly getting back into working on the 1/35 scale Knight of Gold.
I have less room to spread parts out in the new craft room so I can only work on the head, body, and legs for now.
- second layer of grey has been applied
- parts that were ready for gloss black to prep for gold were painted
- currently masking the parts that need more masking to prep for the third layer of grey.
I can't wait to see what these parts look like all painted up, but MAN is this a ton of work. I probably have at least a couple days' worth of work before the parts are all masked and ready for paint.

I finally made it to WAFFLE HOUSE.
The staff are always friendly, and when I asked if they would sell me a menu, they sold me one for $5.
Next time, I’ll be back at 3 a.m. for fight time.

Dipping my toes back into other third party Transformers offerings with MMC's take on Devastator. Their previous versions of the Protectobots looked incredible, and this Devastator looks to be doing much of the same - offering a cartoon accurate combiner with zero parts forming. Everything including the combined head, hands, etc is all integrated into the individual bots.
The first one I got is Scrapper, who forms Devastator's right leg. Right out the box he's incredibly impressive. The plastic is bright, with everything molded in the right colors with minimal paint, which means less worry about paint chipping. The plastic is also extremely high quality and feels on par with Masterpiece Transformers figures.
The most interesting feature on this guy is just how well engineered it is. Some of the panel folding - esepcially with everything around the lower legs - was kind of tricky to figure out at first. Once I saw what everything did and where it was supposed to go, it was pretty easy to understand. The vehicle mode has a bunch of nice touches like a seat molded into the cabin area, and a molded steering wheel and dash console for added detail. There are even exhaust parts that pop out from the back and you even use a tool to "expand" the tread on the tires. Very cool stuff! Even more impressive is the leg mode. When transformed, it has a built in ankle pivot and double knee joint. Looks like the combined Devastator is gonna be pretty poseable! On top of all this, everything locks into place extremely well in every mode. Nothing is loose or floppy. This is some voodoo level engineering!
I can't wait to see what the next figures in this set have to offer if this one is a baseline!
