155 years ago today, Pres. Andrew Johnson made a mistake. On March 2, 1867, he approved #HowardU 's charter. A white nationalist who vetoed Freedmen's Bureau, 1st Civil Rights Act, 1st Reconstruction Bill and opposed 14th Amendment. He missed HU. All we needed. Happy #CharterDay.
