Seamless browser interaction and next-generation mobile capabilities, preparing the foundation for native in-wallet Token Swaps and Mobile Smart Contract Management.

3️⃣ Self-Hosted Wallet API (Up Next):
Giving enterprises, merchants, and third-party developers plug-and-play APIs to integrate XEP and OmniXEP tokens directly into their own mobile and desktop apps.

Can you prove a file existed at a specific moment without handing it over to anyone?

That’s what digital proof of existence and integrity does, and here’s how it works with @certelo_ on @ElectraProtocol :

1️⃣ Your browser calculates a SHA-256 fingerprint of your file locally
2️⃣ Only the fingerprint goes to Certelo. The file never leaves your device
3️⃣ The fingerprint is recorded on the Electra Protocol blockchain
4️⃣ You get a PDF proof report, a transaction ID and a public explorer link
5️⃣ Anyone can later check that a file still matches the original record

Why it matters: designers, developers, writers, musicians and businesses get independent evidence that their work existed at or before a certain time, and that it hasn’t been altered since.

A quick development update 🛠️

Building a genuine on-chain peer-to-peer exchange is an ambitious road. When we first introduced ElectraDEX, our priority was absolute peer-to-peer integrity at the protocol layer. But relying solely on the OmniXEP full-node desktop wallet and waiting through full blockchain syncs naturally limited who could jump in and trade day-to-day.

We've listened carefully to community feedback, and our core development focus is on solving this exact friction.

Work is currently underway on the architecture for ElectraDEX v2. While there’s plenty of development and testing ahead before it's ready for prime time, here’s a look at the direction we’re building toward:

⚡ Lightweight Architecture & Web Access

Eliminating the sync barrier. The target is an effortless light desktop application alongside a browser-based web version allowing traders to connect instantly without maintaining a heavy node.

🔑 Universal Wallet Import

Zero fragmentation. The new design is being built to support your existing setups seamlessly, whether you bring over a wallet.dat from the full node or seed phrases from mobile and web wallets.

🔄 Expanded Trading Pairs

Expanding beyond only the $XEP quote pair to introduce new quote assets and diverse trading pairs, opening up ecosystem liquidity.

🛠 Streamlined P2P Trading UX

Preserving true decentralized, non-custodial settlement under the hood, but wrapped in a modern interface built for frictionless trading.

We know market cycles and sell pressure test patience, but our commitment remains on long-term utility and shipping infrastructure that actually scales. Good architecture takes time to build and test thoroughly, so we’ll be sharing progress milestones and behind-the-scenes previews as development advances.

Here is a quick message from @Jenova_xep our kind dev:

Summer always have been a low communication period since years, cuz of vacation, family time and such.
It does not mean we close everything during summer, but for sure the activity decreases a lot and it's normal

For this second part of the year, the primary plan is to improve the access to OmniXEP ecosystem.
It has started with an improved explorer, offering way more info as before and to be ready for partners and third parties.
Example with CERTELO product that was integrated and is using public XEP explorer for its data proof and integrity.

A DEX view has been added, as well as a NFT search function as you noticed. Not for "no reason"!

On my side, the ongoing work is on a new and improved OmniXEP interface on desktop. Moving from a full node to a light wallet (as mobile and web) but with more ecosystem offers.

Most important for me is about the DEX evolution, more solid and clear, and easier to use. Currently it's mandatory to have a full node, which is not good for easy access and a change was needed.

So the contract management, the DEX, and the NFT capabilities will be increased significantly.

We plan to add new market in DEX (right now, oXEP is the only one), from partner tokens to stablecoin.

These improvements along the ability to be self hosted by anyone including companies, is offering way more opportunities in the coming weeks/months.

Once this new evolution of the ecosystem is released, the mobile and web wallet will take profit of it and enhance as well.

Remember, Electra Protocol is a tool, a strong asset to build real world application on it.
