🔥 Tesla has announced the start of mass production for the new Model Y!

Tesla shared that the 2025 Model Y has entered mass production, with the first deliveries set to take place this weekend.

As of yesterday, Giga Berlin has also transitioned to producing the completely new Model Y. The first units in both Europe and China are expected to reach customers on February 22.

Meanwhile, some details about the 2025 Tesla Model Y Standard Range version have been officially confirmed. The 1,921 kg vehicle features a 62.5 kWh LFP battery and has been certified in China with a 593 km (CLTC) range. However, the production timeline for Europe is still unclear.

The German giant has announced plans to launch 9 new EV models in just two years, with its most affordable €20,000 electric car debuting in March.

Expected to be called ID.1, the compact EV was recently showcased to workers at the Wolfsburg factory. A public unveiling is set for March.

Volkswagen also confirmed that the ID.2all (under €25,000) will arrive in 2026, accelerating its EV transformation. Meanwhile, the next-gen electric Golf and T-Roc will be built in Wolfsburg on the new SSP platform.
