Travelling over the bank holiday weekend? Lets be thankful we don't have to deal with bruises & sores from 'electrified elbows' caused by the jostling of the carriage as this poor traveler did in 1775. #Hertshistory#history#bankholiday#bankholidayweekend
If you want to see this big banner from the Electric Generations exhibition at @UniofHerts, you only have until the end of this month! Don’t miss it! @ElectricGens is organised by our Ceri, Ceri & Owen. Images kindly supplied by @ESBArchives & @IETLibArch https://t.co/W8V1RT08nb

Deirdre’s picture below is of one of three giant wall hangings, each representing one of the themes of our exhibition, which first went on display at @dlrLexIcon and is now on at @UniofHerts. Many thanks to @DLR_Libraries for funding the production of the hangings. https://t.co/Om0oqQxE7R
Great watching my Dad talk about his own National Treasure tonight. A clock presented by @ESBNetworks to Canon Hayes upon the rural electrification of Bansha Village in 1948. @ESBArchives@ESBGroup#NationalTreasures https://t.co/fPvcGwojeN
Catching up on @NatTreasuresIRL now, really impressed with the material history of Ireland, especially the section on rural electrification, with Bernard's electric clock from the Bansha switch-on, and Siobhan's mother's electric ironing board #ruralelectrification@ESBArchives
We just spotted our exhibition in the background of one of these photos! Hopefully those attending #agreement20 had an opportunity to check it out! https://t.co/Jcn5vkooRY
