@jordan_sp1 I believe Russia has s400s in Syria but defending their bases. One of the interesting things is they can also listen into the f35 comms downlink. This was why the yanks threw a fit when Turkey bought an s400 and threatened to cancel f35 order. Lots of sensitive data to Russia.
